who learned to keep their castle safe online.
I keep my password secret.
I think before I share.
I do not click strange links.
I am kind online.
I tell a grown-up I trust.
For parents and teachers
This quest is written for children roughly 6 to 10 years old. Reading level is short-sentence and concrete, and every worrying topic ends with the same instruction: tell a grown-up you trust.
How to run it in a class
About 30 to 40 minutes for all seven rooms, or one room per week.
Works well on a projector with the class answering together, or one child per device.
After each room, ask the class for one real example from their own week.
What is deliberately not here
No frightening images, statistics or news stories.
No detail about grooming, self-harm or explicit content. Children are simply told that online friends are strangers and that a grown-up decides.
No accounts, no logins, no data leaves the device. Progress is stored only in this browser.
Talk about it at home
Agree together which grown-ups count as "trusted grown-ups". Name them out loud.
Promise that your child will never be in trouble for reporting something scary online. That promise is what keeps them telling you.
Set up the family passwords yourself. Children under 10 should not be managing their own.
Adapted for young learners from the "Cybersecurity Opportunities & Personal Security in Cyberspace" session by Fayiz Husain, Neurosta.AI and aiNET Campus.
